she could be at the airport in the bathroom she could have heard the mean guys say they were taking a flight that would give guys time to barely get there to rescue her maybe the portal to the other world can only be reached by being way up in the sky like 15,000 feet or something . but when you come through the portal you land any random place in the area .... the cell could be one of the guys she accidentally had in her pocket from them teaching her how to call the other guy with my favs with his picture to call so she calls .... hope it helps lol
