How to word thank you cards?

For the gifts that were items other than cash/checks, say, "Thank you for the _______." For the cash gifts, you can say, "Thank you for your support of our marriage, both financially and through your friendship." For gift cards, I'd say, "Thank you for the gift card to ______." Do personalize them - for example, on the non-cash items, mention how much you're looking forward to using the item or how helpful it will be. And thank every person for their friendship and for supporting/caring for you and your spouse.
