Armpit hair acceptable?

I was on the bus earlier and saw this young beautiful lady wearing sleeveless and when she raised her arm I died! There was hair!!! But no odor.. I seem to notice a lot of white girls not saving there armpit..is it ok? And how about leg hair? I don't know if it's just me but I never wear shorts or skirt with hairy legs..
