Magistrates court verdict?

hi, any1 with legal experience please. if you are appearing in magistrates court, and decide to pleade guilty as a convenience, and explain this to the magistrates, do they have the power after looking at the evidence, decide to issue a not guilty verdict due to thier recomendations. some people pleade guilty because they cant get the evidence to prove innocence (driving offences ect) can the magistrates do that if they feel you are pleading guilty out of convenince?
